DMC, MADLITTLE PIXEL and HYPERPIE all in the same title, it was purely a matter of time!! What next Simply Austin and ETA Prime?  – All we know is this kinda shit gets us hard when this lands in our inbox!! DMC has only gone and dropped Mad Little Pixels 32gb Arcade Image into Project Hyperpies very own Hyperpie, trimmed the bush a little and released this insane 64gb Image!

Download this, set your controllers in emulation station (first boots into) then go into settings and restart in attract mode (it will then continue to start in attract mode on future switch ons!).

Essentially this is simply the MLP arcade image, transferred to Hyperpie, with an up to date copy of Retropie (4.3.9).

Space required – due to the amount of space required for Hyperpie, it utilises around 37GB of space so will need to be writted to a 64GB or higher capacity micro sd card.  The image was shrunk with PiShrink, and should self expand on first boot.  If for some reason this doesn’t happen, go into the RetroPie menu, select Raspi Config, select Advanced Options, then select Expand Filesystem.

Main Attract Mode wheels split out by;

Arcade Classics – contains all ‘Arcade’ games – 2283

Daphne – self explanatory  – 2 games

Final Burn Alpha – contains the arcade games which are set to launch with FBA – 1000+ games

MAME – contains the arcade games which are set to launch with MAME – 1000+ games

Neo Geo – self explanatory – 139 games

Then we go into many collection wheels, all of which have at least 1 game in them.

The only other changes were to re-encode around 130 video snaps which weren’t working, and add missing wheel art.  Everything else is as per the initial MLP arcade only release, including Emulation Station themes for those who want to use ES rather than Attract Mode.

Note – I do not recommend trying to update attract mode.  It causes issues.
