Backward compatible for the pi 3 (1.2Ghz) and p plus(1.4Ghz) DrewTalks new favorite 128gb image with retropie 4.4. VirtualMan brings us this gem which has been revamped by 2play with over 8,800 titles which include scumvm, ms-dos, atari, nes, snes, sega genesis, pc engine, sega cd, nintendo 64, dreamcast, over 80 playstation games, and much much MORE!
Also 2play brings us Virtualmans 16gb base image and 32gb base, so you can add your already existing rom collection, and save a little download time (dont worry we’ve already got all 3 versions seeded and upload to usenet for you to save you the hassle). The 128gb image is a remaster of Virtualmans 256gb Platinum Image with various fixes and additions.
PSX down to 85. Gamelist OK in ES & AM
Pspminis removed:
If you want it back ALL you need is to get JUST the ROMS or if you prefer the pspminis rom folder and copy it to the 128 img AFTER you MAKE enough space by removing something else! Then go to AM and unhide the display. Simple as that and training for many.*********************************************************************************************
@everyone ATTENTION BELOW IS THE CORRECT/LATEST **GUIDE** VMAN Images v5-6
I have posted these while testing the 128GB Release !!!
**HOW TO MAKE SURE it boots and expands OK!**Pi3B:
1st Boot is hidden and takes place within 30″ (DO NOT TOUCH/KILL).
This is when OS will pass command to EXPAND the filesystem.2nd Boot (before splashvideo) PRESS together “CTRL+ALT+F3”. This way you will be seeing the console and boot sequence running on the background.
Splash will come up and at the end you will stop at the blinking cursor.
WAIT for 2-3′ and WATCH the green & red light of your Pi!!!
You should be seeing the services TRYING TO STOP!
PROBABLY it stopped at: “Stopped target NFS client services”
Once you see THAT AND ONLY the red light on… YOU CAN TURN OFF YOU PI3!
WAIT 10″ and POWER ON.
IT SHOULD BOOT fine and expanded!Pi3B+:
1st Boot is hidden and takes place within 30″ (DO NOT TOUCH/KILL).
This is when OS will pass command to EXPAND the filesystem.2nd Boot will go to the splashscreen and boot AGAIN before ES!
3rd Boot will boot normally to ES!
On PI3B+ I did not have to KILL the power or do ANYTHING! Just booted into ES after 3 automatic boots!
IT SHOULD BOOT fine and expanded!NOTE:
YOU CAN PRESS together “CTRL+ALT+F3” ANY TIME YOUR Pi BOOTS.
THIS WAY YOU SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING ON THE BACKGROUND/BOOTING PROCESS without changing the cmdline.txtENJOY!
REGARDS, YOUR TECHMASTER 2PLAY!
