Virtualmans short lived retirement just did not last! Here he is again with a stunning Remix Revamp Hybrid build….. Virtualman states “This is truly my last *RetroPie* build and want to thank everyone on Discord, youtube, INTERNET in general for all the help/support! – I really want to sit down and enjoy these games with friends/family!”. You may have breifly seen a 4.0 version of this drop the other day which was very quickly pulled, here the 4.3.11 is available for download, heres a brief First Look video….
With his last release being only 2 weeks ago – some of us have yet to boot it up! So here we go with his latest, final (apparently!) release!
RELEASE NOTES (added on top of 3.0):

– Added awesome lightweight updated Attract Mode (aka Hyperspin) layouts/themes /home/pi/.attract (highly optimized and for all systems!!!!!)

– Total 8031 console/arcade/ports/pc games (I DO NOT ENDORSE ANYONE MAKING ANY MONEY WITH THIS BUILD, ONLY FOR HOBBY AND TESTING PURPOSES!)
– Compressed all ROMS (zip) and CD based games (PBP,CHD,CSO)
– Managed to squeeze 120 PSX, 53 SegaCD, 4 Dreamcast and clean 2200 Arcade set to keep the suspense/discovery.
– Added 6 Ports (Quake Bundle, Duke Nukem 3D & **BRUTAL DOOM!**)
– Note: Best experience with keyboard/mouse but controllers have limited functions and it works.

– Added Coleco Vision
– Completely revamp artwork with video snaps!(however I have retain all previous /boxart /cartart /wheel /snap) facilitates switching Front-Ends Attract/Hyperpin style or EmulationStation!
– Custom Arcade Bezels (Arcade Old School) collection
*Special Notes: You have several other bezels/shaders available to customize.
– Improved bezels and screens for some emulators
– Added few additional RetroPie Setup menu (Disable Music, Power Function, Switch artstyle (mixart/boxart), Switch to Frontend ES/Attract, Overclock, etc…)
– Fixed several Arcade games to boot and perform better. *Kudos to MadlittlePixel for the awesome support – emulators.cfg file was key with over 3000+ entries!
– Optimized Dreamcast and N64 (works 480p/720p) – these are still alpha builds and are not 100%
*Special notes all games have been extracted and optimized to use any emulator, but it’s best if you OVERCLOCK.
– You will need 128GB SD card, this is jammed pack – not much room left just under 950MB free.
– Updated all core packages to latest and greatest 4.3.10
– Fix lots of wheel/boxart/snaps to support both front-ends Attract or ES (Spent 3 full days…)
– My playlist music collection (not annoying but you can customize or disable for RPMenu)
– 5 top random splashscreen videos on boot (can customize)
– Added some preferred pre-loaded themes boxalloyred, greenalicious, crazycard and comicbook. All work well and tested.
*Special notes: Attract mode added with best optimized layouts, works find as is without OC, however if you plan to use Attract Mode as you main front-end at all time, i would recommend to Overclock.
I made it easy with custom script you can access from rpmenu.
– Fix retroarch mainly for Arcade not saving on exit and disabled auto save/load state
EMULATIONSTATION FRONT-END BASICS:
– When in Game (for all consoles and Arcade):
START+SELECT (returns you back to EmulationStation)
X+SELECT (RetroArch configuration, ex: set overlays/bezels/shaders etc.)
– When in Game (for Scummvm)
CTRL+Q or F5 (returns you back to EmulationStation)
– When in Game for Ports and PC/Stratagus
X+SELECT will work only on few games, but you can easily quite from in game menu and it will take you back to ES.
ATTRACT FRONT-END BASICS:
– When in Front-End, press
Left or Right to navigate systems
B+UP (this simulates pressing tab on keyboard to access main menu)
Start (to exit Attract Mode)
Y (Randomize game)
– When in Game (for all consoles and Arcade):
START+SELECT (returns you back to Attractmode)
– When in Game (for Scummvm)
CTRL+Q or F5 (returns you back to Attractmode)
