We bumped into a chap called “Coin Junkie” who shared with us an awesome build, which we have yet to try out ourselves, its known as “BARKADE” and promises to be a hit for all Star Wars fans, as well as be a WORKING PI ZERO IMAGE.
I wanted to share my pi Zero image with the community that has given me so much. I’m proud of this image and I’ve thoroughly tested it. It includes Atari, Sega systems, all Gameboy systems, NES, SNES and many PlayStation 1 games, all working great on the zero! You’ll especially like this image of you are a Star Wars fan
I wanted to make something clean, easy to use and working perfectly out of the box for a Pi Zero or Zero W. It’s amazing how much you can fit on 16gb! It has the music folder in the ROMS section for easy customization, and is set up currently for a USB SNES controller. I spent quite a bit of time on this and very happy to give back to the Arcade Punks community where I learned everything I know about this stuff!
I believe the image is 15gb once written and I used a SanDisk 16gb for the image since I found it had less space than my 16gb Kingston and wanted to make sure no one had to shrink it. I’ll get back to you soon with my video! Thanks, and huge fan of Arcade Punks! – COIN JUNKIE
So sounds like a decent little set up and certainly something we can build from , so what are you waiting for ….
NOTE – Upon release of this image – COIN JUNKIE decided on some last minute tidy ups – so for the first 12 hours of the link to download it was for the v1.1 version this is now v1.2 (FINAL) – Link has been updated to suit.
