This image is built on a Motion Blue V4 base and Hursty Blue theme. Overclocked to 1.3GHz with an updated Emulationstation (ES), Retroarch, and Retropie. Included the newly added menus for ES–> ALL GAMES, FAVORITES and LAST PLAYED; added the lr-mupen64plus emulator; added all the artwork and video snaps for my favorite systems: Atari2600, NES, SNES, N64, Genesis, Sega32x, TG16, PS1, NEOGEO, FBA, MAME-mamelibretro, and MAME-mame4all. Added launch screens, bezels and configured shaders for all systems that support it (except the N64 bezel because I opted not to use lr-mupen64plus).
The long wait is over! I am extremely proud to announce the release of the “ADAM BOMB V1” image!!! Before I get into the details, I have to give props to all the major players that made this image possible: Madlittlepixel and ETA Prime, the tutorial masters; David Marti for Motion Blue, his deep knowledge and personal attention to my questions; Arcade Punks for all they do, and an honorable mention to Drew Talks, and the up and coming Harrison Hacks for all they do. Thank you all!
Made the system menus appear in a custom order that makes sense (grouped Nintendo, and Sega systems etc.). Added splash videos for the initial power up. Configured N64 and PS1 for high resolution. When this is fully loaded with full libraries of all of the systems (20 PS1 games) this image is about 5600 games and 60GB. Confession: I did not do much on the Attract Mode side. I hope that people take this image, make it even better and re-release it! I would love to see this thing evolve.
I wanted to share this image because it is very important to me to give back to all that have given so much to me. All you have to do is add ROMs and configure your controller(s), I have even included the ROM lists for each system that has my favorite games already tagged. They have all been tested so you will have a list that is ready and waiting to be played! I only ask for 2 things: 1. You let me know what you think (as long as it’s positive, haha) at Facebook.com/DuncansArcade and 2. You contribute to the retro gaming community when you have the ability to in whatever form you can.
I will also include link to my pamphlet that I give to my friends and family with a system. It has simple things in it like how to load and save, quit games, and a ton of links for all kinds of info!
Last but not least I will provide a link to my 60+ page book that is a complete how-to-guide on building a full size Hyperspin cabinet WITH PLANS!!! I was selling it but you can have it for FREE!!!! It is about a year old now but the content is still very relevant. – DUNCANS ARCADE
