The Retrostone 2 has been floating around for a few months now and we havent seen a loaded image anywhere, until the PiPiggies turn up kick the door down, slam a card on the desk and say “RETROSTONE 2 FUCKERS” and jump back in their battered old VW Beetle and shoot off into the distance, leaving the ozone layer oozing in soot and smoke.

The Retrostone 2 from 8bcraft can be found here, we feel its one of the best handhelds you can get, its heavy, its big and its not trying to clone the GameBoy, and with a pro version available with an extra joystick, there is plenty to get excited about, the price point is about right for what you get (€135.00 / £120 / $158) – there are many improvements on the original Retrostone, including DIGITIAL screen (Watch out PSX!) – the Retrostone 2 uses a A20 processor. This is the equivalent of a single board computer with external peripheral to make it convenient for video games, and is compatible with Armbian distribution of Linux, as well as with Retrorangepi the All winner version of the famous Retropie emulation software.

We were surfing the Punks website and noticed there was nothing for the Retrostone 2, we been rocking this image for a while (bigger version) , and thought we would make a tidy little 64gb version, thanks to Wolfanoz for some help with the updated Arcade Section and our boy Scoony for the shrinkage tips (we hear the Punks are gonna share that shit for you soon son!) – biggup to the Dynamic Duo for the arts/carts and all the parts!- We know the Punks aint gonna be able to screen cap this, so be ready for a shaky video and make sure you load that video with some banging noise !!
