After seeing it from this angle, i couldn't agree more!
I'll take some time to learn and figure it out, hopefully someday i'll contribute to the community the same way they did for us ♥

Cheers

Control is better at the users end... that's why the users of this site have learned and created their own add-on packs and uploaded them to here...

It allows users to learn how it is controlled and how to manipulate it... there's plenty of people here that can help with the problems...  the add-ons created by users are just drag and drop so it can't be any easier... all you need is the coin ops next base and download the add-ons for more and more features... even i created some add-ons and i'm a dummy... during the lockdown, i've made more packs in one week than i ever thought possible... and still have more to create...

Remember, centralization of anything is evil.... might sound good (socialism) but always ends evil...

Oh I got it now!  Thank you so much Ninja UK for your Quick Reply, I appreciate it!

It's a bit complicated to grasp for a total beginner like me 🙂

I guess you're not affiliated with this on the technical side i just have a humble suggestion which is to hire specialists in platforms and servers to organize or build a platform that allows auto-updates for users and give access to developers and teams to upload their new releases and addons like a $team* thing. that would be great and smooth. it could be funded by us members with a given amount that is paid monthly + donations maybe, i think it is worth it as long as the funding solution is consistent of course.

Cheers

- Do i have to download the CoinOPS Next Mini if i have CoinOPS Next ? meaning are they totally different in content (games)?

CoinOps NEXT , is the main one...
CoinOPS Next Mini is a mini version of CoinOps Next,  CoinOps Next Arcade is the arcade only version and so on...

If you are adding add on packs you need the CoinOps Next (main)

- Could be any duplicates with all the different packs and releases ?

There sure is , thats why they are separate 😉

- Does Coinops Next/or Arcade Edition include Arcadia 1,2,3,4,5,6 + FW 1,2,3,4 ? If not is it possible to just download and ADD them to CoinOPS Next?

CoinOps Next
CoinOps Forgotten Worlds 3
CoinOps Arcadia 2
CoinOps Arcadia 6
CoinOps Next2 (out soon)

Are ALL DIFFERENT, for example Arcadia is more targetted towards arcade cabs (builders) ,whereby Next is more targeting to general gaming all round (you wouldnt see GTA5 on an arcade cab, but would love it on a home built console)

i'm just thinking of a single front end that can run all of that

They are all different (yet the same) front ends 🙂
