as long as it's usb 3 connection… usb 2 might be a bit slow with some games that write to the drive and accessing the video snaps for each system and game…

i have used usb 3 wd drive before i put it on an internal harddrive… only done that as internal was 6tb and addon packs start to add up…

is there a way to easily change the letter according to coinops (d:) ?

if not, to run coinops from an external hard-drive, are we force to change the letter of our drive (in windows a guess) or what is the process to make it work ?

my external drive is named T: and it doesn't work to run coinops from it.

is it a usb 3 connection to your pc?… usb3 drive and a usb3 port on your pc?

no need to change drive letters… create shortcut of the exe file to your desktop

usb 2 won't cut it…
