HI everyone, hopping someone can help. I am trying to use COINOPS COLLECTIONS 187gb base install and it isn’t running.
I execute de .exe file and it does nothing. Already installed everything needed (direct x, visual c++). It simply does nothing. Can you help please?

Offline how many monitors you running, whats the error say in the log.txt in the folder?

Offline Thank you. I have only one monitor, using a laptop. No errors besides some missing config files. Maybe its antivirus software deleting files?

Offline in the root of CoinOps collections folder is a file called “log.txt”
paste the file here, should tell you the error…
Quite possibly anti virus is deleting files (and may well have deleted from the .rars you downloaded) – turn off, re download and try again?

Offline I don’t the log file. I download and extract on a iMAC so no antivirus. Maybe when I plugin the external usb drive on the windows pc the antivirus is deleting the files. I’ll try that, and come back with feedback. thank you.

Offline weird you dont have the log.txt ….
sounds like your doing something majorly wrong or overcomplicating a simplifying the whole thing…
My method (PC):-
1- turn off/pause AV
2- download rars
3- mark folder as excluded in av
4- extract
5- mark extracted (install folder) safe in av
6-play
(or skip 3 and 5) and download from trusted sources such as Arcade Punks

Offline Hello, finally got it! Thanks a lot. I didn’t have the log file because I had already wiped the hard drive.
Turned off the AV and marked the folder as exclusion.
I was using “The unarchiver” app on mac to extrat the files to the hard drive, because the mac is faster. But that app wasn’t extracting the files ok. Had to use another, “Betterzip” app, with a trial version of command line RAR for mac 😀 it worked!
All good now and its amazing!
