So I’ve been tinkering with this stuff off and on throughout the summer. I have NES, SNES, Genesis and a few other rom sets downloaded on an external hard drive. Been using my generic Dell Laptop with an Xbox controller just to test some things out. It’s roughly 4 years old and runs windows 10. With some tweaks I have it running Gamecube pretty decent, N64 and all the way down, running straight from CoinOps.
I have been building an Arcade pedestal and put my old iracing PC in there that runs windows 7. Using the same external hard drive and xbox controller I can not get the roms to load. I have run the fix files in CoinOps, twice. Even updated the PC to windows 10 thinking maybe it is an OS issue. I can load GBA and Arcade just fine. I can even run Gamecube roms when I go through Dolphin emulator inside the CoinOps folder. They work great, so I don’t feel as if there are graphic issues. It is an older iBuyPower gaming PC that worked great for iracing when I used to use it.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I appreciate the work people have done to help make the packs we all get to enjoy.
TIA
