This Super Famicom pack is made of 348 japanes games including 218 either in english or English Patched. Mostly RPG but also plenty of funny/weird games which never have been published in western countries. Those which got published on our side of the world (like FFIV for example) are either slightly or really different than their japanes original counterpart. Then you also have 128 non translated games (I know math is wrong … I’ve lost 2 games on my playlits … If ever you find them let me know :D) fully playable even if you don’t know a word of japanese (just like me). Many have english menu and the other ones are mainly action games using classical SNES controls.
Thanks to TeamC this collection is running on its one split core, which mean it is not going to mess with your already existing Snes collection. Files contain an exclude.text for SNES in order to remove japanese games in english which are already in the 1G1R SNES pack and are shared by both collections. You may of course do the opposite if you like to 🙂
I’d like to thank TeamC and Htaed7RTC for their support and help to build this Super Famicom Pack. Without them and their works this pack would never have been so cool !!!! Big thanks to Core team as well, obviously this pack could not exist without them 😀

Hello 🙂
Assuming you are running this pack in Core Type R you should check Super Famicom.conf file within launchers.windows folder
This pack has his own RA core
This is what you should have
arguments = -L cores\s9x_sf_libretro.dll “%ITEM_FILEPATH%”
… as well as that on the settings.conf file within Super Famicom folder
launcher = Super Famicom
If you want to run games on another system or build you have to change paths on those files to fit with it
Hope it could help 🙂

I only get a black screen when entering the games for this collection. Any ideas?
I am having this same issue. Have you found a solution yet?
RetroArch superfamicom core is set to DX12, meanning you need windows 10 to run this pack out of the box. If not, change superfamicom core setting to DX9 and it should work 😉
