Hi everyone,
I am fairly new to the emulator game and I recently purchased and assembled one of the Game Room Solutions bartop arcade kits with the 3 main buttons and then the three separate player and coin buttons. I've tried a few of the images available on the arcade punks site, but none of them seem well suited to my setup. Can anyone recommend an image that would work well with my cabinet setup? Maybe something with arcade and home consoles up through Genesis/Super Nintendo, but not anything that needs analog sticks of more than the 3-4 main buttons? My machine uses a 1280 x 1024 monitor mounted horizontal. I would like something with Daphne, if possible, since I went with the Dragon's Lair theme for my cabinet. I have a Raspberry Pi 3B, but would be willing to purchase a different board if required.

Sounds like a nice set up – would love to see pix.
So originally the Sega Genesis / Megadrive had 3 buttons, then later on 6, and some games are 6 button only (street fighter etc…) so its worth keeping this in mind that you MAY need to move some games off that wont work. THIS MIGHT HELP
The pi 3b is a great board and suitable for all the classic arcade and retro consoles, struggles with N64 (which has more than 4 buttons, struggles with dreamcast , again more than 4 buttons) and plays Playstation (one) almost perfectly…. BUT , again there are many psx games that require more than 4 buttons, so you would need to repeat the above…
As for "not being able to find an image" this site is flooded with them, always check the section and sort by latest, for example THIS LINK will show you the latest pi3b compatible images.
THEN, Click the NFO to see INFO (geddit , n-fo) and videos of them in action, remember THEMES CAN BE CHANGED EASILY (unless otherwise stated).
