Image to SD card issue

Hi All,
I have downloaded RetroRama.Rampagev2.img and I'm trying to put it onto the SD card. I've had 3 tries, twice with Win32DiskImager, and once with Etcher. Every time I get a write confirmation box, and all seems fine.
Except the SD card is blank, no files, and the Pi won't start.
Am I missing something obvious, I'd like to work this out.

So I've worked out what my issue was with this image. when I was unzipping the download, I dragged it to unzip in folder. This introduced the windows temp folder as an intermediate step, and corrupted the image.
Extracting using 7zip menu solved the problem.
It's totally Amazing to run, full kudos to James.
