I’ve had a pi set up with a Nacho image (don’t remember for sure, probably 64MB, might be 128MB) which has been fine for the last few years, but I just found, and therefore broke out my X-Gaming Tank Stick, and would really like to be using it on the system for playing arcade games, rather than a game pad.
I’ve tracked down ways to use it for the moment, with a lot of work, but the settings I make don’t stick, so every time I reboot or turn it off, I have to redo all the settings. (And since I can’t find any way to back out of a game and select another game, or even another system, I have to reboot a lot.)
Is there any way for me to edit the image to permanently add the new controller options?
With more buttons available (the tank stick has 20 buttons as well as two joysticks) is there any way to program one of the buttons in such a way that it can back out of games or systems so that you can load new games or systems without having to reboot the pi?
Want to be making more use of this for gaming than I have been.
