Hi there,

today I’ve seen a video of the Restrostation 14k pluse, it is basically a X96 Max Plus Android TV box with a custom sticker on top and a customised and loaded EmuElec Image on MicroSD.

Some more gameplay footage:

The X96 Max Plus is an Amlogic S905x3 device.

There is a good tutorial online on how to set up EmuElec on that device (though I had to choose the 2gb Ram image, even though mine is 4gb for it to work).

https://androidpctv.com/tutorial-emuelec-turns-your-android-tv-box-into-a-retro-console/

I have a X96 Max Plus myself, set up to boot EmuElec from SD card. I am using the NES Box Theme, which is nice, but I think I would prefer the Theme used on the Retrostation 14k

Also there are many groups, like Zelda games, Castlevania games, which is nice.

Do you recognise the EmuElec Theme used in the Retrostation 14k, how do I set up custom groups (like “Zelda Games”)?

From looking at his gameplay video, the emulation settings seem to be better on the RS14k image, as they seem to run better than on my device. Are there any images I can use where emulators are already set up for best performance?

Perhaps somebody own the Restrostation 14k and cares to share the MicroSD Card image (Roms can be removed).

I was looking around myself and I found out it’s the Artflix Theme. They’ve just replaced the Artfix Logo with their ugly RetroStation logo… awful.

I’ve seen Bill Games has done a Batocera Image with that theme and Galisteo has actually done a video of an EmuELEC image using this theme for the Amlogic S905x3 devices. Just can’t find it anywhere for download and a lot of the information is in Portuguese.

I would really like to try this image on my device, anybody knows where to download it?

I would also be interested in his Cobalto v4 Recalbox 7.1.1 image for my old Pi3B, please let me know where to download it.

I would prefer UseNet downloads (NZB. files).
