Greetings to all! First off, wow! You all are doings some absolutely amazing things and I’m glad that I’ve stumbled upon you all while trying to figure out how to accomplish my project of gettings an super affordable arcade light gun experience for my nephew. There is soooooo much stuff here and it’s kind of hard for a newbie to grasp exactly what all is going on. But I think I’ve kind of got the basic understanding… I think, but please let me know if I obviously do not because of something that I’ve said. Some of the build when it comes to the light gun ones are confusing as far as what “light gun” is compatible. I fooled around what seemed to be one of the newest builds but it mentions the sinden super awesome wish I could trust the nephew with not smashing it into bits device. Anyways, should all “light gun” PC builds be compatible with the Mayflash Dolphin Bar and wii mote or are there certain ones? Around the way I’ve come across some but they were for a PI and I’ve got no real clue how to even go about converting that to work for PC. I also have two monitors, My secondary being a 50inch TV that I would prefer to run things on. On the Sindin mentioned build I could figure out how to change monitors but I think my confusion on getting the mayflash bar to work and what settings and what not I have to have to get that right to work with the build. I’ve seen several different ways to set things up on various YT videos. So it’s all kind of turned into a big ball of confusion. Any guidance would be much appreciated, hopefully I can get this figured out by this weekend for his birthday. Yay yay. last second I know. Pressure makes diamonds right? 😛

from personal experience i have had more joy running batocera from a external hard drive with my sinden light gun attached. I have seen a newer option that is plug and play with a set box and two ar light guns.
i feel coin ops now does not work so well with sinden due to the accuracy of the cursor. I have tried teknoparrot but that requires alot of setting up (if you do get it running
it is well worth it)
I did try the pi light gun images but being honest i thought they sucked
