Not too sure whether you've actually updated Hyperspin or just Windows
Golden rule with the Hyperspin 8GB is NEVER to update Hyperspin. My 8GB Hyperspin has never been touched and I've never had any problems with it (and my Windows 10 has been updated as of today)
Not too sure about this 8GB pack but my one has a Hyperspin Backup folder so if you bugger it up you can quickly put it right

MAME, would be the only one I could think of … Fancy putting it together as a pack with instructions to update and sharing ?

Quote from barcrest on January 2, 2020, 12:46 pmI was thinking of going through the emulators list and noting all the versions and then making an updated emulator pack.

Hey man, I think that would be pretty awesome. The only other issue I could think of is maybe some pathing for a couple of emulators with version numbers in the folder structure? Like RetroArch is in a folder named 1.6.3 but the latest version, 1.8.2? So it would have to go into the folder labelled 1.6.3Â or it wouldn't launch (you wouldnt recreate a new folder called Retroarch 1.8.2.
I get very OCD when it comes to folder structures! If there's a specific reason to "Fork" off a specific emulator version into a specifically labelled folder for compatability I very much get that, but yeah, I wish there was just a folder called RetoArch or WinVice etc.
Having said all that, updating RetroArch to the latest version within its current folder, wont break things. Just might lead some people to think they are running an older version than they already are.

When the build is completely uploaded and all parts are public I guess we could create a systems list, work out which systems are supported by Retroarch and then update it accordingly….

I don't think there are any updates coming that will affect the emulators folder so we should be able to make the update with what we have now. It seems that it is just the roms that are coming out in packs now or at least that is my understanding.

Need your knowledge in three questions.
- I like to add some WiiU-games, and also som extra Wii-games to this Hyperspin 8TB-compilation. I have the roms.
Do you have a site/guide you recommend where step by step are given how to do this correctly. I guess I need to edit xml's and add paths. I am a Hyperspin virgin. Adding Cemu, is there an "API"-way, or do I install Cemu Windows 10 version as "normal" and the work with paths in Hyperspin?
should I always go with the latest version, i.e Cemu 1.16.1?Found Cemu in Emulators (DOH). However, that emulator, togehter with other I have look into are older versions. I guess I have to update each individual/manual?I have an account at EmuMovies. Should I use that service to add good GUI-content in Hyperspin?ÂLooked into the 8tb-folder structure and found the answer in "Media"

The ONLY "updates" coming are ROMs packs, no doubt as a community we will then create updates/addons/fixes and thats the whole purpose of getting this slightly buggy set up out there, so we can ALL work together to improve it or make it the way WE want it ? Its all good fun ?
