Hey everybody. I was born at the beginning of the 80's so I grew up playing arcades games until arcades started to vanish from shopping malls towards the end of the 90's. Or when the malls decided to turn them into places for little kids to play games for tickets to turn in for overpriced junk.

My first console was the original NES that I got for an Easter present (of all holidays) as a complete surprise by my parents in 1990. Back when every month I looked forward to a new copy of Nintendo Power waiting for me in the mailbox after school.

I did some PC gaming but not a lot. Warcraft, Diablo, Doom, and point and click adventure games like Gabriel Knight.

Got burnt out on console gaming in the mid 2000's and the last non-handheld console I bought was the PS3-Slim. Other than the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, I play PC games mainly. I used MAME to play some of the older arcade games for a little while about 10 years ago and then lost interest.

Guess I got the bug again since I'm looking for another nostalgia fix.
