Hello everyone, I am a retired IT Coordinator and wanting to get into my PI4 a little bit more. I had a friend give me an old mame cabinet that was running with an old PII computer. I would like to replace this with a PI4 or something a little less robust in size and weight. Came here looking for some ideas. the mame cabinet still has its original monitor and controllers. I am excited to see everyones projects on here.

Hi! The Raspberry Pi 4 is a great choice for your retro gaming setup. It has plenty of power to run most classic arcade games, and its small form factor makes it a good fit for an arcade cabinet. You can use software like RetroPie or Lakka to set up your gaming environment. These operating systems provide a user-friendly interface for managing games, as well as support for popular controllers like the ones you already have. Good luck with your project!
