Currently 3D printing a bartop cabinet at home. Took about 3 weeks to design it in Tinkercad and the pieces are printing as we speak. Should be fully assembled in a couple weeks. More to come, including a name reveal!
A few notes on the pictrues…
– The button designs were a test to show difference between vinyl and inkjet printer paper. Definitely using vinyl for the final product.
– Although I've used Tinkercad for many smaller projects, I do NOT recommend it for large projects such as this. Many times I wanted to quit due to limitations of the software. It is very frustrating when you need to rotate parts and trim them down to fit your exact measurements. We're talking 0.1mm mistakes that have screwed up the assembly and required filing and shaving the parts to fit…
