I’d need some advice on what route to take for loading up an arcade cabinet. The goal is to load up the PC with LaunchBox/BigBox pulling the games from the NAS. Here are the tools
- Full sized arcade cabinet, two player with trackball
- PC Core i5 with low end NVidia card
- Usenet account through ArcadePunks preferred
- ArcadePunks membership (FTP access) btw.. you guys rock
- Synology NAS with 24TB
- BigBox lifetime license
I installed LB/BB on the PC. I then NZB’ed Arcadian Final Release. I moved the /Games to the NAS, but then started getting a little lost on connecting the PC to the Games on the NAS. It was fairly easy mapping out MAME. However, installing the correct Emulator and then configuring it to work with Arcadian’s Games I started getting lost.
Do you think I should start over installing Arcadian’s version and then moving the games to the NAS?
Should I start over with CP78?
Has anyone tried using games from a NAS?
