Hello all…I am trying to configure controls per system by accessing the quick menu. In my little experience with Retroarch, I am able to hit F1 and it will pull up the quick menu. However, in this build it does nothing. Hoping to better map controls on an arcade cab for a 2 player/6 button each setup!
Thank you!

Hey Wolf
I have a few questions for you if you don't mind
- I am also having issue's with getting the controls bound in RetroArch correctly, I have an 8 button arcade setup and I have just started trying to configure console's in your build but every time I go to change the controls in RetroArch it doesn't let me save the config file. Sorry I am pretty new at this whole thing.
- I have spent about 3 weeks now consolidating your list of games and console's that I won't play. I managed to remove the systems I didn't want but I was only able to "hide" games on systems I wanted to keep ie: I filtered my NES list from 900 to about 350. Wondering if you can shed some light on how to properly remove them as the ROM/video/audio/configuration still remains and I can't figure out how to remove it correctly.
I have uploaded my current config with a screenshot of the error. BTW the work you did on your build was top notch we are having an amazing time with it !!
Cheers,
Colin

Hi guys,
I am having the same issue here. When I change the controls in the retroarch menu it doesn't seem to transfer over to the actual cores and then the only way for me to exit out of a game is to use the cntl+alt+delete task manager…I haven't setup the PC in my arcade cabinet yet and am just "experimenting" with a keyboard. I also do not see an "Enable Hotkey" option in hotkey binds, just an option called hotkey. I assume this is the same thing…
I haven't setup the drive as G: drive yet, could that be the issue?
Edit:Â Changing the drive letter fixed this for me.

Could be partly to blame (with the G: setting) and yes, that's the hotkey setting (usually select). I did mention (I believe) to change the drive to G: just to be safe. Did you save to core in RetroArch as well just to check? Its in the quick menu in regards to saving as a whole. Also the new RetroArch is out so make sure you update to that and copy over the files in the Emulators -> RetroArch folder. Let me know. Not sure why autoconfig isn't saving as I didn't do anything out of the ordinary there.
Also to remove games, just select the games you don't want and go to the toolbar and remove them. It takes all of the media and everything out as well, I believe. Think you can also right click and do the same once selected.

@wolfanoz Thanks for taking the time to put this together man. I used your build when I got into doing the Arcade1up mods for people. Excellent build. Thank you for your contributions…This is the 4 player cab I built that this is going into. It's running retropie on linux right now…View post on imgur.com
