Been running my own Launchbox build for over a year and just dont have the time/knowhow to iron out all the bugs and get the tricky things like Model 3 etc running.

I’ve seen this the 2.6TB Wolfanoz build on here. Tempted to wipe my own build and go for this if anyone can testify to how good/easy/reliable it is to install & run? Also, what’s the best source for download now as the torrent will be quite old. Thanks in advance.

Hi, fyi – I downloaded the build a few days ago via torrent, it took a couple of days but worked fine. I’m currently testing the various platforms – and almost all of them are doing great.

The Gameboy (including Advance and Color) resolution did not match the overlays. I simply switched off the overlays in the Retroarch Configs. Problem solved.

Only Daphne gives me problems, I don’t get any of the games started – Log file: “Could not initialize video display: No video mode large enough for 1600×1200. Video initialization failed!”
EDIT: Got it. First, watch this video: youtube.com/watch?v=wh17Nr3GRnA (starting 7:20), it helped me a lot….  1) Start the “DaphneLoader.exe”, at “Configure”, “Video”, change the Screen Size (for me 1280×1024 worked fine). 2) At “Game/Laserdisc”, “Configure Laserdisc”, check the path to the *txt file at “MPEG Framefile Location”. 3) Edit the “DAPHNE.bat”, check the resolution (“-fullscreen -x 1280 -y 1024” worked for me). 4) Edit the resolution for every game in the “Launchbox_Loader.bat” (again “-fullscreen -x 1280 -y 1024”). That’s it!

Ive tried numerous times to download the NZB file and run it in Nzbget and SABNZBD, it never loads. I can download the NZB file, but when trying to run the file, nothing happens. I know Nzbget is working for all other files, but this one will not load.

The Torrent file never loads either.

Is there anywhere else to locate these files?

Torrent probably  not seeded anymore.

NZB is huge, probably why it not loading in auto downloaders, try it in another client

Hmmmm, NZB never worked for me for this download. The torrent download (in Vuze) took about 12 days, but there were enough seeds….

I was able to download it via torrent.  Took about a week, but my internet speeds are slow.  Now the problem I have is unpacking it.  It is archived with a password.

I was able to get the nbz downloaded using altbinz with UsenetServer as the provider.

Note: On nbz parts 0065, 0120, 1262 were all broken files for me. You may have to use the torrent to download those files.

I downloaded this, and like others, it took awhile on my 9800 baud modem. (just kidding).

I really like it. Huge, with lots of games and looks nice. I also had a few problems with a couple of games on my system, but every PC is just a bit different. I’m not very good at LaunchBox, but I’m finding that this is a good way to learn. I’ve had to work through a few of my problems, and the forum has given me some help.

It’s nice of Wolfanoz to spend so much time on this build, then share it with the rest of the community. I wish I had half the talent the folks who create all these builds have amazing knowledge of the software. And I appreciate it.

I downloaded it via usetnet and when I launch a par file to repair it, quickpar immediately close it out.  Anyone having the same issue.  I also tried multipar and still couldn’t get it to run.
