When I first tested this image it worked flawlessly. Weeks later and my cocktail arcade table has been built and is ready for testing and the monitor goes into power saving mode straight after the initial “Batocera” splash screen is displayed. The rPi is still running but the monitor won’t wake up. (I’m running this on a rPi4 4GB).
The monitor in the cocktail arcade table is connected via an adapter to a VGA input. I tried connecting to a different monitor via an adapter to a DVI input and get exactly the same results. I’ve tried both micro HDMI ports on the rPi4 with the same result.
I’ve tried putting the stock RetroPie image onto the SD Card and it boots up fine with no issues of the monitor entering power save mode. I’m at a complete loss as to why it was initially working with the Batocera image but no longer does.
Any suggestions as to the reason or how to debug the issue?
