- Back up your SD card!!! This can go wrong any number of ways. Not my fault if you bork something!
- Upgrade Raspbian on your Pi 3 to Raspbian Buster.
- Use Gparted on another computer to enlarge the boot partition of the card to 250MB. Make sure you don’t move the start position of the boot partition.
- Put the card back in the Pi 3 and update the bootloader with the command
sudo apt install –reinstall raspberrypi-bootloader raspberrypi-kernel
- Put the card in your Pi 4 and hope for the best.

Hi all, i have downloaded a few images,

[32GB]-Tomato.Amiga.Retropie.V1.00.RPi3b.and.Plus-Tomato
Batocera 5.29 RPI4 Gaming Collection 128GB By_Clebinho
downloaded pimiga works like a dream on the sandisk and hard drive (usb).
but having problem loading, i use a sandisk 128gb micro sd card and a usb harddrive with the same trouble, i down load the image use Raspberry Pi imager to prepare the card/hd use custom option, when this is done.
i get the pi boot image this board requires newer software.
any ideas

it might work to update it

will auto-remove the /boot/kernel7l.img needed by Raspberry pi 4…
