Sorry guys i am a complete noob and i am just getting into rpi. I have a rpi4 and i have installed a few different images and some have worked and some have not. I have a few questions.
Do images that work on a pi3+ work on a pi4?If not is there a way to edit it to make it work on a pi4?
Is there a good place to learn the ins and outs of the pi4? programming? retropie?
I downloaded BLZeebubs-Vertical-Arcade-RPi4-64gb-V2 and it is in 19 different .rar files. i tried using the imager but it will not let me select the files to install. how do i get this on a SD card?
im sure i will have more questions down the road because i really like messing with this stuff.

images are made only for the model they state
you technically can change them, usually means having each type of board
the files you downloaded are archives (same as a zip file) find out how to extract them all into one image here >

I just purchased a Pi 400 purely for a lazy mans retro setup. So glad someone else asked the same question about mounting an image. Benn doing my head in! Thanks for the help and patience.

Newest version of SD Formatter that is recommended doesn’t give an option to format to FAT32. Is that still important, or can the Pi 400 read exFAT?
Alternately I see that Pi Imager has a format FAT32 option, does this work? The images I am trying are 64gb and 128gb ones, will the format work on sd cards that large?
Sorry for all the additional noob questions, but I don’t have any mates to annoy with them
