Hey guys… started an Arcade project like a year ago, finally back working on it again. I'm not very good (at all) with this setup stuff so opted for a prebuilt system. Synthwave was pretty popular with some reviewers on YouTube so grabbed the 64GB image.
Tested a few games and so far working great. However… games look weird. Not pixels, but rather everything looks kinda 'blobby'… like some sorta smoothing effect was used on it all.
How do I get rid of that? I'd rather sharp blocky pixels than stuff that looks like melting wax. I'd rather no shader at all, or maybe one that adds the lines to look like old CRT screens. I'm testing on a 40" LCD right now, but when done I have a 20" 4:3 Samsung for the arcade. Tricky to find, most were 5:4 but managed to get a pair for under $20 total because blown caps which were maybe $20 to replace.
EDIT – Found a decent image on Google of what I mean, image on the right, smoothed and details lost.
