I been running Damasos 128 image for a little bit now. But i want to add a few more Genesis hacks to the Genesis hacks folder on the img. Is this possible? I normally load games from a USB but there is no other "genesisHacks" folder to put the hacks in?

Offline You can do it many many ways
A fresh USB, first put it in the Pi wait the the Green light to stop blinking a few minutes, then put the USB in the PC and you will see all the Folders/Dirs that the Pi made and drop the roms in the right Folder
WinScp over network, SSH over network, The Pi's address in a Web browser
DiskInternal Linux Reader will allow you to access the sd card or img's
A Linux pc and browse the sd card like any drive (i dual boot old laptop)

Offline Hello, yes i know how to add roms. i do it the USB way. I want to put a few custom roms in the "genesis hacks" folder. i put a blank usb in the pi and it does not give me a "genesishacks" folder.  if i add these hacks will the PI detect them as hacks and automatically put them in the hacks folder??

Offline Good question, try this create a "Genesis Hack" folder under roms drop the files then plug the usb into the Pi and see

"pi@retropie" Name: pi , Password: raspberry
or "pi@raspberrypi" same name and password as above

Offline WinScp is a Free Network Connection Program, easy to use
You only need 3 bits of info
Login to: pi@retropie (if using p-dark img then its pi@raspberrypi )
User: pi
Pass: raspberry
Then you have 2 windows side by side, browse esch window to the roms on one side (Yours), then to the roms folder in other window (pi) Drag'n'Drop

Offline Creating a folder called Genesis Hacks did not work. still cant find away to put these hacks in the Genesis Hacks folder.
If i add them to Megadrive they just show up in there.

Offline i think the Folder you want to make under "roms" is "genh" and add the games to that
When i was try to make missing Art there was a genh, also gbh, gbah, gbch, nesh, snesh, ect, that makes me believe you need a h on genesis, but Not genesish, but genh

I got it using the method built into emulation station. Thanks. Great build. Only problem i ran into is adventures of lolo on nes will not boot.
