My daughter recently asked me to play Mickey’s Ultimate Challenge. I had built a RPi 4 with Rey’s 128GB image a couple years back, no problem. I dug out the Pi today and went to bake the image and power it up like I had 100x before, and on boot instead of the rainbow square before boot, it loaded a CLI and said the Pi needed newer software. Has anyone seen that before? Not sure what I’m doing wrong, or why it changed.

im only new to this and also downloaded image and loaded image on card
i also get data screen come up saying need new software
not sure how i do thisi have another card with rpi image for software and comes u fine
just cant seem to get games image working – have tried severalthanx for info

I found out my issue (like an id10t) I was trying to load a RPi3 image to an RPi4. The Rey’s 128 I have is for the 3.

Reys is like one of the first loaded images for the Pi, its almost collectible !!
