I downloaded the RDI 1TB image from the Newsgroups with GrabIT. GrabIt couldn’t extract it so I had to manually extract with 7Zip. It created an RDI.part0001 (833GB) and RDI.part0522.1. (0KB) This second part looks like an error, so I ignored it.
I flashed the RDI.part0001 to a 1TB NvME stick via USB adapter. When I plug the USB NVME into a Win 11 computer, I see files. When I plug it into my Pi 400, it doesn’t book from it. I slipped in a microSD with Ubuntu to load the OS from it, then plugged in the USB NVME. It still doesn’t detect. Any idea what’s wrong?

I downloaded it using utorrent and it created RDI.part0001 through RDI.part0767 and now I’m at a loss as to how to properly load the image to my pi. I unziped RDI.part0001 and retrieved a disk image file but I haven’t loaded it into the pi yet because I have no idea if I’m doing it correctly. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

Ninja UK said rnYOU SHOULD DOWNLOAD A BUNCH OF RAR FILES AND PAR FILES,rnrnTHE PAR FILES WILL REPAIR THE RARSrnrnTHE RARS (UNRAR WITH WINRAR) ARE A HIGHER FORMAT OF COMPRESSION, NOT SURE 7ZIP DOES RAR2 PROPERLYrnrnYOU SHOULD END UP WITH AN IMAGE FILErnrnBURN THE IMAGE FILE NOT A part001 FILE…rn rnThank you for the advice. It was an image file, but it appears that not all RARs were downloaded and thus an incomplete set. I may try downloading again to see if I can get a complete set.
