So I downloaded this (128GB_VIRTUALMAN!_XI-4.4.3_GOLD_OLD-SCHOOL-EDITION_RETROPIE+ES_PI3B-PI3B+) and it worked great for 30 min. until I mucked it all up and installed more themes now its stuck in one of the themes I downloaded and it crashes emulation station everytime on statup. Is there any way to change back to another theme before emulation station or would it be easier to just reload the front end on the card again and wait 4 hrs for to finish? I pretty much know the answer to this but I was hoping maybe someone knows a trick…anyway thanks for any help.

Offline When you see the emulationstation loading screen just keep pressing f4. It will kick you to the command prompt. Or you can ftp into it and manually change the /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/es_settings.cfg theme set. "carbon" (no caps) is default and would get you back to working. The theme you chose doesnt work on pi if you use several game systems. It is designed more for pc's and stuff.
If you have to do it from command line you can type:
sudo nano /opt/retropie/configs/all/emulationstation/es_settings.cfg
scroll down to theme set change it (say to "carbon" for example) then press "ctrl + x" then "y" then "enter" then reboot after it saves.
