Hey guys, I'm new to this whole thing and tried numerous times to get my raspberry pi 3b+ set up with retro pi and getting wolfanoz 32gb arcade only image put on with attract mode as suggested on the YouTube video I saw. I've had no luck getting anything to work for my 4 player cabinet set up I have ready to go. I'm sorry if this sounds being "spoon fed" but could some please help with step by step process to get this running? I'm getting to the point I'm willing to pay someone to just load it up and have it turn key ready for me to just hook up to my cabinet and go. Thanks guys and hope I can get some guidance. Thanks!

Hey z-rider,
Not sure if you have a cab ready and all but here are my recommendations as far as getting the image on a card if you havent. I recommend getting a SanDisk Ultra or PNY based 32GB card (or larger if you care to put more on it eventually). Use SDFormatter to format your card (FAT32). Use WinDiskImager32 to image the card to the designated drive that your card corresponds to.  Put it in your Pi, boot up and once you get in, use a keyboard to switch to Emulationstation so you can set your controls. That's the one thing I left out / had forgotten at the last minute unfortunately before shipping it here. Hopefully it isn't too painful. Good luck!

Hey Wolfanoz, image is working great, just mounted a keyboard to the back of my cabinet in case i need to do anything like get to emulation station after a fresh image. Modded an Arcade1up SF cabinet like on EATPrime, and the controls map perfectly.
One question, do you have or know of a working version of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 that can be added ? I've been searching for awhile and scratching my head as to how to get it to work right.

Hey all,
Just starting out on my first Pi cabinet also ( have had a PC one before ). I've got as far as getting retropie and such on my 3B+ and it's up and running. So for this image, would I copy over my SD card I was using for that ( in other words, is this self-contained or does it need to have retropie already on another card ) ?
Sorry for the newb question, but figured I better check.
Thanks.

Self-contained. Just re format card into FAT32, and burn the image using a program like etcher. Throw it in the pi, turn it on and you will be up and running.

I installed this yesterday, and my hat is off to you – I know how much work it is. Thanks! Next steps will be configuring my custom controller.
I'll also have to figure out how to set it up for a 4:3 monitor. Or maybe just go buy a 16:9. Sounds like resolution is in raspi-config – as well as The Bezel Project. I love the bezels. That's outstanding.
BTW: My WiFi was disabled by default with this image. To fix it:
$ iwconfig
$ rfkill list wlan
Shows: Soft blocked: yes
That causes the wifi to NOT WORK.
$ sudo rfkill unblock all
Look: Soft blocked: no
YAY!
$ sudo shutdown -r now

Hello,
I'm quite new to this and have an issue.
I have an arcade cabinet with a 5/4 monitor (1280×1024 – 60hz) – but when I boot the frontend the left side of the screen overlaps the titles of the games.
And when I run a game part of it is behind the side bezels… Seems like a resolution or other setup problem but no idea where to fix this…
Any ideas?
Many thanks!
Best regards
Bruno

Hi
Please can someone assist
I am running a Raspberry PI 3b+ with a 128gb Sandisk SD Card. I loaded the Wolfanoz Arcade only 32gb image. Whenever I boot up I get the below error.
"run AM System COnfiguration Utility to reset the attract.cfg file with a proper identifier"
I do get into attract mode and all works fine. However I would like to get rid of this error.
Is there somthing I need to change or look at to remedy this.

Hi Wolf
I just recently downloaded the Wolfanoz_Arcade_Reboot_Rpi4_32GB_Extended on my pi 4 b 8gb. But it keeps stuck on the loading screen. I have tried everything I can find online. I have updated the EEprom and I’m using a 64gb SanDisk SD card with SD formatter and I have merged the unallocated partition. Extent the overlay folder over the free space. so all space is formatted. It seems to booted up fine, and then got stuck on the loading screen. I don’t know what to do anymore as I can’t find any other posts or solutions. Any help from the image maker would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!
