sounds like the amiga/dos versions on that image are buggy

if you look at the top of the page in the ornaage banner, and hover over games and roms you can select compliant rom packs ( if running hyperpie or motion blue)
or pi rom packs if youre running another front end. each of those has roms packs for several systems in it, that you can compile according to your tastes.
