I tried a lot of things I have read up on and through my other post on this forum with no luck.  I know the track ball does work as I tested it on a lap top.  I even think I got the left right buttons working as well.

I'll have to follow your suggestion as you mentioned above and go with motion blue and pull over the roms.  I installed the track ball as I got the go ahead for the project if I was to install the track ball and get centipede working.  So I still owe her the track ball so she can play her favorite game. lol.

I may at one point want to build another cabinet, maybe a bar top, but that one I will not install the track ball but instead install two light guns.

I appreciate the your time to help me out.  I'll have to let you know how I fare.
