Little step this 2 days ago. I done the marquee lighting with two “neon Led” and the result is just like I wanted it is : bright enough to see it in dim light but not annoying for full light, see the pics :
Then, I've drilled the buttons and joysticks holes, stick the artwork on the CPO, installed the hardware (full Sanwa) and wired it, and then fixed the CPO on the cabinet with a piano hinge and 2 latch to avoid it from toggling during the game. Let's see the pics ?
After that, I installed the Raspberry Pi behind the coin door to make it always accessible once the back of the cabinet closed and started the long and tedious Recalbox configuration !
But as I have a child's soul, I did not resist the urge to play a small part of Galaga ?
That's all for this 2 last days, next step next wednesday with the 2 sides artwork to stick and the T-molding to install…
