Yeah that's what happened to me. The script couldn't find any ROMs. I joined the TeamZT Facebook group so I am sure I will be able to find information for the current server.
It's disappointing that people are re-selling images. If someone wants to create an image from scratch and then sell it, that's up to them, but no one should be selling images that were developed by someone else.
As you rightly say, there are ways around the redirections. If he masks his links using a simple affiliate script then he can keep the ROM destinations fixed and then just change the server URLs when necessary.
