WHAT ARE PARS?
Without going into technical detail of how usenet works (parts, binaries and pieces!), like downloading from mega.nz occasionally you can download ‘incomplete’ files, the par system (also known as par2 or par3) enable the application to ‘repair’ the incomplete files based on information that it has saved, these are very useful and most applications you can set to download pars “if required”.
PARS ARE MAGICAL !! They repair rar archives that you download, some download applications (mentioned above) have a par repair function built in or you can run separate programs such as QUICKPAR or MULTIPAR.
