Reply To: Image larger than SD Card. How to reduce image size or delete some of its files

I got the same SD card used in the description of BoredGameDad Super Clean Batocera v33 (256,060,514,304 bytes), and it did not work! It even shows on the main picture of the link, the 256 Sandisk Ultra.

I think what happens is when the file is divided into multiple RAR archives and then gets extracted again, the final image becomes larger than what it is supposed to be.

There must be a way to optimize or edit the image size. I’m not sure if anyone else has more information.

It would be a huge waste to buy 512, especially since it is way more expensive than the 256, just for an extra few MBs
