My initial thoughts, fantastic collection and have spent the morning going through my favourites – which brings me to the purpose of a thread.
Some things don’t seem to work right, maybe they need some tweaking so could do with help on that. Others might need a different emulator so we could all work together and get this collection spot on. Post may get edited when I find others not running very well or not at all. Also might delete or add in the solution when posted for particular games.
- Super Mario Bros U on Switch – I could’t start the game, L+R didn’t work, same on Mario Kart 8 (switch) L+R don’t do anything
- Mr Driller (mame) has no sound, not sure if this is emulator choice as I changed it to another and crashed the system, Dreamcast Mr Driller is absent 🙁
- Bounty Bob Strikes Back on Atart ST, doesn’t load at all, tried it on Atari 5200 and can’t get past the Atari logo
- Dragons Lair (daphne) – once game is started there’s no sound other than the beep when you move
- Flimbo’s Quest (amiga) – loaded the amiga workbench and opened the disks but can’t do anything from there
- Boulderdash (atari ST) – loads into a desktop with game files but doesn’t load the game
- Crazy Comets (c64) – get to the intro and then doesn’t load the game
- I Robot (mame) – doesn’t load, just back to the selection screen
- Daytona USA (sega model 2) – game starts fine, just the pedal isn’t mapped so can’t actually play it. Also can’t exit the game with the two buttons so had to force shutdown and restart
These were just a few among the collection which didn’t work, not a moaning topic at all – I’d just like help to get these working as they were particular faves of mine from way back when I had nothing better to do, haha.

LOTS OF GAMES/SYSTEMS HIDDEN AND NOT SHOWING!
Rename the following directories:-
atarilynx to lynx for 76 games
wonderswan wswan for 112 games
wonderswancolour wswanc for 91 games
odyssey to o2em for 116 games
sgfx to supergrafx for 5 games
sg-1000 to sg1000 for 68 games
The genesis folder contains 897 games that are not seen by the build, I made a custom CFG so I could have 2 separate systems for Mega Drive or Genesis, I love having the seperate option for 50FPS or 60 FPS. Only quick answer I can give you to see the roms is as below:
Rename genesis folder to megadrive for around 900 extra games.

Howdy all, I have switch control working great on this build. It takes a little tinkering…..
First of all grab a keyboard and mouse and hook it up to your steam deck.
Open any switch game, and once it loads, press F5 to quit the game and get to the yuzu app.
from the top menu select Emulation, and then Configure…
from the list on the left, select Controls.
Change the Input Device to Steam Controller 0 from the drop down list.
Change the Profile to Deck Mode from the drop down list.
you can now map the controls by clicking on each one and pressing to corresponding button on the steam deck i.e L = Button 8
the window does not fit the steam deck display so you will have to manually drag it around and resize it to get to all the buttons.
Once you have completed your mapping, be sure to click on Save to save the profile.
Finally click on apply and then OK.
Now the part that’s a bit of a pain but makes it stick, open each game one at a time. Press Esc to bring up the file menu.
Select emulation, Configure Current Game… and then click the right arrow on the top right three times to reveal Input Profiles.
Click Input Profiles and change the Play 1 profile tto Deck Mode from the drop down list. Then Click Apply and OK.
Now it should stick. If someone figures out a way to make it global please let us know.

How do we go about the custom CFG, easy edit I imagine. I did the others you mentioned and nicely done.

I don’t know how much it cost for the people who did support this 1TB but the result must be disappointed 🙁
I don’t mean to be rude but this really is an incomplete work. First of all, why two partitions SHARE/GAMES? Why so many misnamed folders?
The Amiga section made me sad: A500/A1200/CD32 are alltogether, so many languages for a lot of games, sound is not stereo, games are not working, can’t access the configuration within the emulator… In fact almost all the computer sections (A800, C64, Spectrum…) have many bugs. I know they are way more difficult to configure than the consoles but still 🙁
I’ll try to sum up all the problems I’ve encountered and when (if?) I managed to correct those bugs, I’ll put an update here.
This was a really promising project but -at least to computers fans- it’s a bit disappointing.

I just burnt the image onto the same exact SD card that is in the info of this file. It took about 12 hours to write. When I place it into my steamdeck, it gives me the “loading batocera.linux” splashscreen, but then it goes to a blank screen and will not load.
I tried playing around and replaced the files in the Batocera folder on the SD card with another steamdeck image folder, and while it loads, its not perfect. Wii, Wiiu PS3 games won’t load (just kicks back to the main menu) and N64 games load with the screen rotated 90 degrees clockwise.

There’s over 20GB of duplicate content in this build. Tried to upload screenshot of all the duplicate content but forum won’t let me.
There’s also two Saturn folders, one called ‘saturn’ and another called ‘ss’
