I downloaded and installed the 1tb Batocera Steamdeck image but unfortunately it does not boot on my Steam Deck. When I select the microSD card from the EFI boot menu I can see the text “booting Batocera…” for a second (90 degrees rotated) and then the screen goes black forever and nothing happens. I installed everything according to the instructions and I am using exactly the SanDisk 1TB microSD card model that was recommended. 

I tried the same microSD card now on a friend’s Steam Deck and it booted Batocera without a problem and everything was running fine.

My Steam deck is brand new – I wonder if there is any hardware compatibility issue?
Both steam decks had the latest software update.

Any help or idea how to fix this would be highly appreciated.
