@canter6Hi guys first post on here so bare with me…..
So built arcade cab running pi3 model B with dell 19 inch monitor and zippy sticks of ebay with zero delay usb controllers, Xcade B19c model as the cab and 18mm t moulding. So everything went together swell…..up in no time, I connected all the joysticks and buttons on a daisy for illumination and checked the functionality of the the sticks and buttons via usb as generic controllers on the laptop…. every thing went well on so fitted them into the control station.
I download the terminator build of here at first and it dawned the VGA to HDMI leads i had were not good enough though i could hear everything couldn't get visual (pressed a free buttons on the arcade). so 5 days later go the adaptor which worked well, but joysticks were all over the place and no configuation could be done even with a keyboard?
So I clean the image and tried again…..same issue joystick everywhere, so I decieded the image might not have the config file in..? i dont know so downloaded the back to the future one again which i knew had the set up on power up a s seen in the video.!!
to my dismay and to my insane verge of smashing this cab up I call to you guys….. is there something ive done wrong or pressed when there was no visual that has stopped my joysticks working(which i have set back in laptop and still work perfectly)….. I have plugged a usb keyboard in it wont do anything than let me press F4 to go to command prompt but I have no idea when things get this dead.
Thanks for your time i would appreciate any help. Scott

@canter6what do you mean by”all over the place” ? completely random? or not working at all? orr?
i suggest starting off with a virgin install of retropie not a premade image, boot into emulation station, and set up controls there, and see if you get the same problem,
