@canter6Not sure where to post this question but if its not the right place, can the moderator put it in to correct forum for me plz…
Anyways, my question. Â I making a Pi 3 Â build with a MadLittlePixel image on a 2.5 HDD that I already burned successfully.
The next step is to boot from it (USB drive).
I am following these steps from http://www.raspberrypi.org/doc…..des/msd.md  and I was wondering if anyone successfully done this and boot from one the Pi images?
I don't want to take the chance if it doesn't work cause the boot to usb mod, I can't reverse the Pi and its pernament.
Thanks
Cheers, Cyb

@canter6i have not booted from the HDD, but i have instead booted from an SD and stored all my roms on the HDD.
IIRC there is an aussie on youtube that did the direct boot rom from HDD, with no SD, but unfortunately ive forgotten his name.
if you want to boot from SD and run HDD for rom storage, MLP has a video on this as well, theres also a cpl threads on here already.
ill try and dig up that other vid for you.
