Control problems

For whatever reason, coinops will not read controls once I’m in game. It used to just fine…and still does in the menus before picking a game. I’ve searched everywhere and can’t find a solution. I’ve tried the default controls (both locked and unlocked) bat files and nothing. Deleted and installed other versions of coinops and still nothing. Can anyone help me with this?
