@canter6I'm still looking to build my ideal build. I have a 128GB card.
Is there a list of all systems available and the total size of all ROMS? I think this would be really useful in planning out which systems I want to add to my setup. Perhaps the total size of the complete ROM set and the average ROM size.
As someone born in the 70s and grew up in the 80s, I'm more interested in the older systems.
Ideally, what I want to set up is:
- All systems up to around the mid 1990s with complete ROM sets (atari, commodore amiga, nes, snes, mega drive etc)
- MAME with as many arcades as possible
- Some later systems with selected games e.g. Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Nintendo DS, PS1 etc
I'm not too bothered about the later systems as I know the games take up more room. So I would do is set up all the earlier systems first and then add the newer systems and select which games I want.

@canter6yes and no, in the games and roms tab, under compliant, it lists each system, and when you go to download each system it will tell you how big the download is,
as for the 128gig you should be able to load EVERYTHING prior to dreamcast/n64/psx with ample room left over, even running snaps/art etc .
its the newer games/roms that take up tons of space.
i can tell you though 128gig will net you well into the 10 thousand plus game/roms zone. especially the older stuff where an entire system might be 1 gig.

@ma3stroYeah I think that's the way to do it. Load up everything prior to dreamcast and then pick and choose what games to add.
How much space it would take to store every nintendo game (on a major console) that can be emulated. from emulation
“>discussion on Reddit about Nintendo games and it listed the following:
NES Library
237 Mb
SNES Library
1.7 Gb
N64 Library
5.5 Gb
GB/GBC Library
568 Mb
GBA Library
8.4 Gb
NDS Library
83.2 Gb
Gamecube Library
867 Gb
Wii Library
6.56 Tb
At only 5.5GB, I'd be keen to put on the whole Nintendo 64 library. Later systems would be too large to include all games.
