Keymaster@ninjaHi guys. I downloaded the hyperpie build and i have all the roms and more on a pi drive.
Any chance of having the build put up without the ROMS so i can put it on all a smaller SD card or any advice on how i can do it.
Many thanks and thank you to the devs for their outstanding work.

@canter6at the very bottom of the below linked page, is the base build links for hyperpie.
https://www.arcadepunks.com/ret…..oads-page/
outside of that, if you already have the image, you can strip the roms.

@taff0935The image at the bottom is Dave Martis base image. The one i'm referring to by MLP has all the wheels etc and a better retropie menu for using hdd etc.
I basically want that 128gb image without the ROMS so i can run them from HDD and using a smaller SD card.
I have seen posts using GParted to shrink the partition but im a total noob when it comes to linux etc.
Cheers

@taff0935Ok, i have managed to shrink the image in ubuntu using gparted. The issue i have now is that windows still sees it as 128gb and not smaller. Any ideas??

@canter6ok i managed to do just this ( albeit i used a different build set. but i t should work the same)
I used motion blue base build with MLPs roms from his hyperpie build ( i started with mlps build and had issues with it)
what i did was, extract MLPs image file which extacted into another inage file and extracted that as well ( if you dont have a huge hard drive i reccomend deleting the first image file before extracting the second, as i did not the first time and my 500 gb harddrive filled up after waiting a while for it to extract to only not finish and have to restart it.
upon extracting the second image file, you will get all of the build files, ( including roms)
if you want to use your own roms, replace his roms folder with your own, and boom youre in.

Participant@ebeattyDoes the MLP Hyperpie Shrunk image require the hyper pie update pack?

Participant@ebeattyThank you. Â I have three of my favorite name games which don't appear to load up or work on the. Msp 128 shrunk image. Â What is the best way to fix these? With this image?
