Keymaster@ninjaOK, so I am a long time lurker, first time poster here, just officially registered. Hoping for some feedback
In short, I would like to take a look over of anyone thats released an image of their own's pre-release check list to make sure I am not forgetting anything, Also need to get instructions on how to, at the last minute, erase MY controllers settings, have it boot into EmulationStation for the initial controller setup.
Also, I am considering disabling the Attract Mode Setup menu from the top level displays menu. My reasoning is that I am looking to make a more polished, clean, bulletproof -type-esque system that no one is going to break by accident, that you can sit a kid in front of and not worry about them borking your system (as much…) The drawback to this is any type of further configuration, like giving a Wi-Fi password, or further customization will require a keyboard. If I do this, I will place instructions on how to enable the Attract Mode Setup menu in the ReadMe.txt but this is the only aspect of the image I am on the fence about, so any input will go a long way.
I created this draft of the ReadMe that spells out and details more of what I have done with this image. Â Very, very interested in any tips, feedback, thoughts, anything as this is my first attempt at putting out a release.
Artwork and playability look to be in good order. Not sure what to do once I finish this last leg of preparation as far as getting it hosted… I also would like to get some help getting it listed on the Arcade Punks site for all to enjoy.
