Greetings Programs!
Working on TRS Mini and Apple ][ Mini in parallel.. writing new loader routine (see version started with C64 mini, then Atari, Vic 20, and finally Spectrum Mini)
Here is an early preview of 70’s goodness..
It seems a lot of time was spent in actually figuring out how to use a TRS 80 and COCO!
No exact ETA.. as there is a LOT more to add… books, magazines, finish the systems that are there.
No awesome music (period correct) music in preview due to YT restrictions
Just a quick update… bit of a hiatus for spring/summer non computer related stuff and updating the website (sorely needed updates!)
We’ll get back to work on minis soon.. really!

It is a fair amount of work but… I’ll tell you a cool story.
A good friend of mine, back say.. 20 or so years ago, when we were thinking of various business ideas said to me the best advice EVER. and I’ll put it in context..
“How much time do you spend a day watching TV?’ and usually the answer is..well.. way too much. (replace that with streaming shows, YT, etc)
‘Start with 20 minutes a day.. just 20 minutes doing something creative.. for a purpose. Whether it’s a hobby, trading stocks or BTC (now), or a new business. Pretty soon you’ll find that 20 minutes turns into an hour. That hour turns into 3, and so on and so on.. At THAT point it’s turned into passion for purpose’
Whether you succeed or fail, you’ll enjoy the journey and amass a ton of great memories along the way.
..and without difficulties, you cannot appreciate success. I am pretty sure everyone who creates remembers that ‘AHA’ moment in their projects. That is a different kind of addictive adrenaline.
For me, with MyRetrozz, not only those moments above, but I LOVE the stories I hear from people. I’ll give out a ‘MyRetrozz Volume x (there are 5 volumes.. and the WIP Computers 1 volume) for birthdays, Christmas, etc I absolutely LOVE the stories people tell.
“I used to play Utopia on Intellivision as a kid.’ or ‘We had a Colecovision and we played Donkey Kong or Mr. Do ALL THE TIME” – and always.. I mean ALWAYS you see that gleam in their eyes and unbridled joy. Giving THAT to someone is worth more than all the gold in the world.
..just a random thought on that front. Maybe I should (or anyone I suppose) start a thread of their best videogame memories. We all remember the first time (no not THAT first time!) they either saw a game console at the store, received it for Christmas.. played those first new games.
THAT feeling as whomever reads this is thinking now.. is what MyRetrozz is truly about.
