KeymasterI tried out the 32GB image by MrHarias. You can see it on Arcade Punks at https://www.arcadepunks.com/su…..-mrharias/
It's a cool setup. I love how videos are integrated into game previews. It looks like the Damaso image has a similar setup https://www.arcadepunks.com/da…..nda-thing/
One of the best features of the MrHarias setup is that has the Team ZT installer installed. Unfortunately, it does not appear to work. Not sure if that is a server issue.
I noticed another image called Romflix has been uploaded https://www.arcadepunks.com/ro…..-by-marco/
I love the fact that image is small and you can then just pick and choose what images you want. I really think this is the way forward. It seems more practical for us all to set up small images that only take up a few GB in size and then pick and choose what games and systems we want.
Hopefully we see more smaller images that are setup so that users can pick and choose what to install ?

KeymasterAt the moment, there are a couple of rom installers floating around one is the GameWizard one and one is the Team ZT one, they are both great, although my personal preference is the TeamZT one, the rom servers are getting BATTERED by the sheer volume of downloads (We know that feeling!!).
So they are currently moving the roms about, meaning there will be an update to the script and , yet again, the scripts will stop working. Its a shame really because there are very easy ways to deal with this (url redirections), so that the script dont break on every server move, also the developer (nice guy!) is pissed that his rom installer is going into images that people are selling on-line so makes a change to break every script so you need to download the new one and ssh it to the device.
This is fine if you are a geek and hang out int he TeamZT FaceBook group, the simple instructions to follow are there, and you can update your device with the new script, not so great if you have given the device to your sister the other side of the country who doesnt have a clue what SSH means and just wants to download Sonic ?
At this moment in time there is no real way to 'secure' it to lock it down, the developers and teams involved are just shy of PURE AWESOME and have their work cut out, but they have paved the way for the future of Pi installs (and downloads!)

MemberYeah that's what happened to me. The script couldn't find any ROMs. I joined the TeamZT Facebook group so I am sure I will be able to find information for the current server.
It's disappointing that people are re-selling images. If someone wants to create an image from scratch and then sell it, that's up to them, but no one should be selling images that were developed by someone else.
As you rightly say, there are ways around the redirections. If he masks his links using a simple affiliate script then he can keep the ROM destinations fixed and then just change the server URLs when necessary.
