Ninja UK
Keymaster@ninjaDo to the fact that I bought a used Win 10 all-in-one touchscreen PC to replace my two failing Megatouch bartop machines I decided to start a post on games and programs that will run or with some minor tweaking run on a device like this. My criteria for games on this machine is to use only the touchscreen for interaction. That being said I see no reason why we can not make note of the games that will need a keyboard or that may need some tweaking/hack to properly work on a touchscreen.
If anyone see anything below that is incorrect or needs more explaining please let me know.
Front ends:
- SimpleTouch FE – Seems completely compatible with windows touchscreen.
Games:
- Angry Birds – All Angry Bird games(Original, Rio, Space, Etc.) seems to work great with just the toucscreen and has an on screen exit/quite button.
- Bookworm Deluxe – I used the version from Aladdin from the download section that seems to be a dump from an arcade type machine requiring  you to add money and also has a timer. I found that the PC version more to my liking but does need a keyboard at first to set up a player. The player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Has exit button.
- Crayon Physics Deluxe – I'm using the Steam version of this and I have noticed that it requires some keyboard input to restart the level and to bring up the main menu for exiting the game.
- Big Fish Games: Dance of Death – Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game.. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games: 9 The Dark Side of Notre Dame – Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game.. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games:Â Awakening – The Dreamless Castle – Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game.. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games:Â Castle – Never Judge a Book by Its Cover – Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game.. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games:Â Curse at Twilight – Thief of Souls -Â Â Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games:Â Dark Canvas – A Brush With Death – Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games: Drawn – The Painted Tower – Could not get the touch to work in fullscreen. Does work in window view but requires multiple taps to select. Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games: Empress of the Deep – The Darkest Secret – Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games: Enlightenus – Requires multiple taps to select. Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games: Enlightenus II – The Timeless Tower – Requires multiple taps to select. Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games: Fallen – The Flowers of Evil - Requires multiple taps to select. Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games:Â MatchMaker – Curse of Deserted Bride – Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games:Â Pirate Mysteries – A Tale of Monkeys, Masks, and Hidden Objects -Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Big Fish Games: The Keepers 2 – The Order's Last Secret – When I first started this game the touch and on screen cursor when not calibrated however after getting to a part of the game when I needed to start selecting things it  seemed to start working normally. Needs a keyboard for player name. Player is remembered after restart no longer requiring a keyboard unless you want to start new game. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Luxor 2 HD(Steam) – I am noticing that these ball shooting type games are made for a mouse where you can move then left click to shoot. The problem with a touchscreen is that as soon as you touch the screen to move it fires the ball. This is a real problem with a game that requires you to aim precisely.
- Swipecart(Steam) – Works good until you need to slow down requiring you to hold the left mouse button holding your finger on the screen does not do it.
- Cogs(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Morphopolis(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Incredipede(Steam) – No touchscreen support, keyboard only for control. Also no game exit without hitting escape.
- Machinarium(Steam) – Â Touch and on screen cursor are not calibrated. I Really wanted this one to work. I bet the tablet version would be better.
- Splice(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far. No way to exit without keyboard.
- The Room(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does say to right click to Zoom out but pinch zooming works.  Does have an on screen quit option.
- Waveform(Steam) – Could not get the touch to work in fullscreen. Does work in window view and requires multiple taps to select but does not seem to effect gameplay.
- World of Goo(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- Anomaly Warzone Earth(Steam) – Has touchscreen option in controls menu. Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option. Can not skip beginning intro unless hit esc. button
- Defenders Quest(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far but requires multiple taps to select, Does have an on screen quit option.
- Dwarf Tower(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far. Does have an on screen quit option.
- FieldRunners(Steam) – Could not get the touch to work in fullscreen. Does work in window view.
- Papers, Please(Steam) – Seems to work fine with touch input so far. No touchscreen quit option must use keyboard.
I am currently testing about a dozen games and will update this post as I go along. Please feel free to post any findings you come across.

Participant@davep180Hi there,
most Pop Cap and Big Fish games will work fine. Most do need a keyboard for name entry, other than that most games will work great. Check out the touchscreens page, for the pub quiz games, and more……

I am trying many Big Fish games now that were taken from this site. So far I am getting mixed results. most so far require a keyboard to enter a player name. Also I have one not responding to touch and some others that require that you hit one spot multiple times in a row to make it select. I will post my findings. I do however believe that it is possible for people to have different results with different hardware or setups.

@mark-norvilleWindows 10, use at your own risk. Only about 110 games work for windows 10, compared to over 200 on xp and windows 7.
