I’ve solved a few issues already and I’m currently stuck on this issue. For the most part, on most games, after starting the P1 Sinden Lightgun, I’ll get functionality, buttons mapped to necessary functions, crosshairs, everything is mostly usable.
If I reboot with a second gun installed in the bottom USB 3.0 port as intended, and run the software to start it, I lose functionality in some games on gun 1 and Gun 2 doesn’t function at all outside of the Sinden Lightgun test software. If I try to insert coin binding on it, it will insert coin on gun 1. No crosshair will appear, trigger doesn’t seem to be mapped to a trigger function when trying to progress past an arcade start screen.
I don’t have it in front of me because it’s at my work, but I can start to give a complete game report for games we’ve tested if necessary when I next go in.
I updated the Sinden Lightgun software to v1.08 by copying over /Lightgun from the Pi-Arm Linux software from the Sinden site, because before I did that the first gun didn’t work at all, running the test/calibration app under Ports would say that the gun wasn’t detected at all. I made sure to make the copy for both Player 1 and Player 2 but the result for Player 2 is as I’ve mentioned above.
I’m at my wits end. I tried getting help at the official discord and they told me to come here since I used this build. I tried using their barebones build and on top of not having the interface options I wanted it couldn’t even get me this far, I was running into the exact issue for the 2nd Gun.
If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. If I need to include any additional information, video, screenshots, let me know. I greatly appreciate any help.
